KIK Start is a partnership program between Anglicare Victoria, Yarra Ranges Council, Best Start and the Lilydale & Yarra Valley Leader newspaper. The KIK Start program is designed to assist families of 4 year old kindergarten children who may be experiencing financial hardship.
The delivery of preschool programs is governed by the Victorian Preschool and Program Policy, Procedure and Funding Criteria, Children’s Services Licensing Operational Guide and the contract between Yarra Ranges Kindergartens and DET known as the Children’s Services Funding and Services Agreement among many other requirements related to the delivery of quality early childhood services.
